Key Support for SMEs and Agri-Food A standout initiative for the business community is the Climate Resilient Agri-Food Trade Promotion Support (CRAFTS) project. With a $5 million investment spanning 2025–2031, implemented in partnership with TFO Canada, this project aims to:
Support Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in the processed food sector.
Empower businesses led by women and underrepresented groups.
Enhance access to international markets and climate-resilient technologies.
By aligning development assistance with trade promotion, Canada is laying the groundwork for expanded commercial ties and mutual prosperity in the region.
