Sellers are typically producers, farmers and cooperatives of agricultural crops. All sellers are verified by our platform through a seller specific (KYC) process, to keep market wide credibility.

Buyers can be referred to as industrial buyers, whom may be crop processors, food manufactures, food retailers, etc… All buyers are verified with a buyer specific (KYC) process.

Know-Your-Customer (KYC) is the process we use to verify the identity of our platform users, assessing their reliability and trustworthiness to perform digital crop transactions over the CASEAN Marketplace platform. To obtain a KYC verified account, we require the user to provide us with 1. company registration, 2. proof of user ID and address, and 3. proof of company IBAN.

Banks in Canada, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, and China do not use IBAN codes. They use SWIFT codes and routing numbers. IBANs are mostly reserved for European countries.

YES! Once both parties agree upon the terms & conditions of their transactional deal, then these terms and conditions become legally binding. This makes sure that both buyer and/or seller take full responsibility if a transaction is not performed in accordance to the agreed upon terms & conditions.

CASEAN Marketplace charges a nominal fee to both buyers and sellers, which is only applied after a transaction is completed. Our fees are based on the transaction’s value and volume. We maintain transparent pricing and ensure our users are fully informed about fees throughout the process.

We offer secure, integrated payment options, allowing users to complete transactions anytime and from anywhere.

After a deal is finalized, the payment from the buyer is held in CASEAN Marketplace’s escrow account until the product is delivered as per the terms. Upon delivery acceptance, funds are deposited into the seller’s CASEAN MP Wallet and automatically transferred to their bank account. Advanced payments are processed immediately once the agreement is reached.

We enable both buyers and sellers to initiate product quality checks. These inspections are conducted by our specialist partner, SGS, at the seller’s origin, the buyer’s destination, or during transit.

We offer flexible shipping options for bulk or container loads, tailored to ensure efficient handling and transportation at competitive costs. There are no imposed quantity restrictions.
