The Canadian Chamber of Commerce Vietnam has announced that it will join the newly formed Canadian Chambers of Commerce in the Indo-Pacific (CCIP) network, set to officially launch in early 2026.
The CCIP will bring together 19 independent Canadian Chambers of Commerce and Business Councils operating across the Indo-Pacific region. As a voluntary coalition, the network aims to leverage shared experience and regional insights to:
Coordinate joint initiatives such as events, webinars, and advocacy efforts that benefit members across multiple markets
Cross-promote activities among participating chambers to strengthen connectivity and expand business networks
Advocate collectively on issues that matter to members
Share knowledge and best practices to support business growth across the region
Although each chamber will continue operating independently, CanCham Vietnam notes that joining this alliance will enhance the value it can offer to members and contribute to a stronger, more collaborative ecosystem for Canadian businesses in the region.
The CCIP network will include Chambers and Business Councils from: Bangladesh, Beijing, Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, India, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Macao, the Pearl River Delta (China), the Philippines, Singapore, Shanghai, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.
All chambers have agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding, with a formal signing ceremony scheduled for early 2026.
